A good, broad infographic. Having not been formally educated in web development or design I have found it a little difficult to get started, I would suggest that places like codecadamy and treehouse are best to get started but you really do need to find as many blogs and forums as you can to truly get immersed in the subject. I would suggest https://news.layervault.com (which is where I found this article) and also The Next Web and Tuts+ as good places for keeping up to date and learning new practices.

From what I’ve found because of the slow process of getting a new curriculum approved at higher education institutes, courses are not up-to-date enough for people wanting to go out into the field and start developing or designing with the latest languages and resources.

Also, as an aside I would say that the line ‘In Europe education is free’ is hugely misleading. I live in England and my university degree was far from free. Some parts of Europe may well have free higher education but this seems badly worded.
